Citroen will revive its legendary DS badge for a new range of near-premium models, industry sources said. The French brand will unveil plans for the new DS range on Wednesday, when the carmaker launches a global rebranding campaign. Aston Martin has confirmed the return of the famous Lagonda badge on a new car. But it won’t be a production version of the controversial Lagonda SUVconcept that appeared at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. Instead Aston Martin is to build a bespoke "super saloon" as an exclusive limited edition.
The new Kia Rio made its debut earlier this month, at the 81st Geneva show. Falling in line with the new Kia identity, the Rio now sports the family DRG as well as certain design cues from other models in the range. The Rio is a significant leap forward over the outgoing car in all areas, adopting a more Germanic feel.
